Assassins. Car chases. Espionage. All in a day’s work.
In this short but sweet 3D puzzle platformer with a retro-James Bond feel, you play a secret agent- born to live and let die. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: keep your cover and keep your cool through two levels of danger and intrigue as things heat up in the town of Nuevos Aires. Is it the weather, or the proximity of the fire-breathing assassins? We could tell you, but then we’d have to kill you…

A constantly evolving shoot ‘em up set in outer space.
With a unique stylistic diversity, Genetos bills itself as an “evolution” shooter; each level represents drastic changes in graphics, challenges, and enemies faced. Level 1 presents a simplistic, Space Invaders-esque theme, while Level 2 breaks into Galaga territory. Level 3 introduces more modern graphics (along with the heavy artillery), and from Level 4 on, the firepower, enemies, and settings progress with increasing intensity. Genetos succeeds not only as an enjoyable shooter game, but also as a sort of meta-statement on the evolution of game-play and graphics in the genre. Don't read too much into it, though, or you'll get distracted from blowing stuff up.

Smash, bash, and dash your way through different worlds.
The good news is you’re an indestructible little yellow fellow with a permanent smile who loves nothing more than to run fast and smash into things at top speed. The bad news is you’re always in a rush! Race through 6 worlds and 35 levels, with 3 medals to collect for each, and plenty of boss showdowns along the way. The clock is always ticking, so keep your speed up, especially when you race against ‘ghost’ versions of your own previous best times. Still reading? You’ve got running to do! Note that this game will not run on x64 machines.

There are plenty of fish in the sea… for you to catch.

From small fish to large sharks- the object of the game is to catch as many fish as time allows. Better your score and increase your time limit for each fish caught; lose points and time by hooking other non-fishy junk. So find a quiet spot and cast your line- the sea is calling…

Legend has it there’s a princess that needs saving.
As the title suggests, The Legend of Princess is developer Joakim Sandberg’s homage to the Zelda series; a colorful freeware interpretation geared towards fans of the franchise (himself included). In a familiar premise, our tunic-wearing hero sets out on a quest to rescue a kidnapped princess, collecting helpful tools and weapons, and facing off with multiple bosses along the way- all with a touch of snark and satire that only a reverent fan could provide. Don’t expect a full-on Zelda clone, though- The Legend of Princess diverts from its inspiration in its graphics, music, and differences in overall game-play.

Little dragon. Big breath.
For developer Grit, the third time is the charm, as Pylo Noveau betters two previous unheralded incarnations in the Pylo series. As Pylo, the fire-breathing dragon, make your way through multiple worlds and levels on a gem quest. Gems can heal you, give you power to attack enemies, or just provide you with a little tune-up for that precious fire-breathing ability. Try not to breathe fire on the gems, though; it kills their resale value.
